Archaeological Illustrator - Leominster

Full or Part- time  Permanent

The applicant should have demonstrable experience in digital drawing and show an interest in cutting-edge software applications in archaeology such as 3D modelling and digital recording.

The role will  include auditing and production of digital drawings and plans to publication standard for our archaeological projects. Supporting the team in the development and implementation of site recording strategies.

Essential criteria:

IT literate (Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)

Excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to work to standards and deadlines

Ability to work well in a team

Degree in archaeology or related subject

Exceptional attention to detail

Good communication skills

Desired criteria:

Knowledge of CAD/GIS/3D modelling software

Experience in archaeological surveying (TST/GPS)

Current Driving Licence

Executive Assistant Project Manager - Leominster

Cataloguing, preparation and deposition of the archaeological paper and digital records together with the material archive held by Border Archaeology in line with the relevant museum standards

Essential criteria

  • Ability to work to standards and deadlines
  • Report writing skills and IT literate
  • Experience of working with born-digital archives
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication

  • Membership of a recognised archive organisation i.e. Archives and Records Association (ARA)
