Community

The company has a history of working with the local community and, where projects generate a significant body of knowledge considered to be of general interest, seeks to disseminate such information as widely as possible, involving schools, societies and interested members of the public.

To this end, and at our own expense, we have organised a series of informal presentations in community venues to showcase the findings resulting from recent archaeological investigations carried out in advance of water pipeline engineering works at Stretton Grandison, Herefordshire - the site of the Roman settlement of Epocessa. Pictures here are of a recent presentation evening held at the Feathers Hotel in Ledbury.

From 2008, we will be working with the Parish Councils of Stretton and Grandison Ashperton to co-ordinate further research on the archaeology of Epocessa.
