Robin Putland MSc
Robin completed a Master’s degree in Environmental and Palaeoeconomic Archaeology at the University of Sheffield before embarking on a career in professional archaeology. He has also completed diplomas in professional archaeology and the use of GIS (Geographic Information Systems). He joined Border Archaeology in 2014 and currently works as a Palaeoenvironmental Sciences Supervisor, managing the day-to-day operation of the Company’s Palaeoenvironmental flotation department at Milton Keynes, a facility that averages the processing of 5,000 litres of soil per month. His personal research interests include the analysis of palaeoenvironmental remains relating to both fish and mollusca.
