Even the smallest finds come out in the wash....

2 February 2017

Look what's turned up in a recent retent sample!

Everything is caught by our Enviro Team. Last week in Milton Keynes this coin (probably Roman) turned up in a sample containing animal bone and CBM (ceramic building material).

The front of the coin shows a face of an emperor (possibly Constans dated AD 333-350). This has still to be assessed by specialist so any dates are tentative at the moment.
