Catherine joined Border as an osteoarchaeologist in 2015. She divides her time between fieldwork and osteoarchaeological projects. Catherine’s research interests include post-medieval cemeteries, the paleopathological manifestation of metabolic diseases in the human skeleton and aging techniques especially in sub-adult individuals. Her specialism also covers cremated human remains and she is currently working on Roman period cremations.
