Results are back for the Hairpin

"Not a perfect match but ......"

Ian Riddler, Bone and Antler Small Finds Specialist  has confirmed that the hairpin unearthed last week is " Not a perfect match but it does look like a Greep type B1.1, (hairpin) a common Roman form of 3rd to 4th century date, one of the most common forms."
