Congratulations Ian!

27th July 2017

Ian is currently employed within Border Archaeology’s Post-Excavation offices in Leominster. He regularly employs his conservation skills by ensuring unearthed finds are properly looked after through environmental monitoring and insect pest management.

Currently Ian is using his interventive conservation skills to reveal the detailed surface of late 18th and 19th century coffin furniture unearthed at Gloucester Cathedral during our recent Project Pilgrim excavations. Hidden underneath layers of soil and corrosion, using his conservation skills, Ian will seek to shed further light onto past funerary and social practices.
