Evan Shingles

Evan studied history at the University of Exeter before completing a masters’ in Medieval Studies at King’s College London with a dissertation on perceptions of the natural world in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.
 
He joined border in 2023 as a Heritage and Archaeology Researcher. Within this role he is responsible for the research and writing of reports varying from building surveys to archaeological assessments. He has a particular interest in the Middle Ages and the interface between the natural world and buildings.
