Our Team Of Experts
Our Senior Managers have worked together for over 15 years, providing a highly efficient, stable and professional management team.

I have always been interested in history throughout school but my first experience in archaeology came from a family visit to Chysauster Ancient Village in Southwest Cornwall in 2016, where I really began to look into studying archaeology at university and as a future career.
I attended the University of Exeter for both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Archaeology, graduating from the latter in 2023. At university I was always interested in human interactions with landscapes and how humans have altered them to adapt to their needs like sustenance and land management. This resulted in both of my dissertation projects being phytolith analysis taken across Haytor in Dartmoor, Devon, a method that had never before been used for Dartmoor which added evidence to Bronze Age tree clearances across the region.
I joined Border towards the start of 2024, starting as a trainee field archaeologist but spending a lot of time helping out the palaeoenvironmental department at Milton Keynes before transferring to that department a few months later, eventually joining the Leominster team. My job consists of taking in and processing environmental samples from sites with tasks ranging from floating and sorting at macro and micro levels to writing up concordances and tabulations to be used in reports. I am particularly interested in sorting and identifying charred grains and seeds. I also occasionally help out working on sites if and when needed.
Outside of work I spend a lot of time looking after my small range of citrus trees and carnivorous plants.
